Reversible Computation And The Thermodynamics Of Computing.

I have this book by Richard P. Feynman, named Feynman Lectures on Computation. The chapter Five is Reversible Computation And The Thermodynamics Of Computing. Sounds Really intersting. As I haven't yet started to read this chapter, I don't know actually what it contains. But lets see what idea the chapter title is giving me.

Long ago while studying thermodynamics inevitably I had to come to the idea of entropy. Later in statistical physics even quantum mechanics the idea of counting of states had these equation similar to that of the equations from communication theory. I mean the equation for information and the equation for entropy has this marvelous resemblance. So now seeing this chapter title by guru Feynman I am very much thrilled!

And Reversible computation is a kind of computation done by quantum computers( at least theoretically) these days.

So, Lets see what's waiting there.
