Things to get done

There are a few things I need to get done as soon as possible. Just to get the 'channel' clear. Let's list them-

1. Read about von-Neumann entropy.
2. Finish the Popper book.
3. Write the proof of impossibility of consensus with t >= m/3 players. Where m is the total number of players and t is the number of dishonest players our protocol can survive. Write why non fungible information will also have this bound.
4. Read Great Gatsby.
5. Read Relativity by Einstein.
6. Code the line finder in python.

Let's see how long I can survive with these works.

My Today...

I have learned:
1. A bit about Music.
2. A bit about Art.
Specially I have become interested in searching for the 'traditional/ancient' art forms of South Asia.
  • Is it possible to create new form of art inspired by 'ajanta ellora'?
  • Is it possible to form a very local 'cartoon' style like Japanese have their Manga?
3. Terry Pratchett  inspired me a lot with his book 'the Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents'
4. While trying to do a presentation on a 'crappy' paper I have found a better way of doing the thing. And have proved that, that paper was 'wrong' both mathematically and by actually implementing (implementation was done last night which is officially today) their proposed algorithm.
5. Came up with one more line for my song,
If you keep on praying you'll know,
The rainbows don't listen to the blues...
6. Found the rhythm I am going to use on it.
7. Learned a bit of Prezi to create presentation for my Matrix talk.
8. Became more emotionally moved about Somalia.
9. Started to draw using an interesting method which I have thought up and named 'Drawing by Random Fluctuations'.
10. Restarted my Bremsstrahlung! Blog.
11. Learned to use NumPy and SciPy.
12. Learned to use Komodo Edit 6
14. Learned about Reason 5 and midi Keyboards.
13. And finally, was able to make 'green tea' which was really Green in color!

To Do Today July 01

  1. Revise the contour integral chapter of complex variables. Specially the proof of Cauchy integral formula, Cauchy-Goursat Theorem, Liouvile's theorem and the fundamental theorem of algebra.... (check) [That was nice. But it took more time than I anticipated.]
  2. Find out the equation of hanging cable. (check)
  3. Derive Keplar's law from Newton's inverse square law of gravitation using vector calculus. (check)
  4. Do some drill on moderately advanced integration techniques. Leave the more advanced parts like Elliptic integral or the application of residue for some other day.
  5. Find out what quantum mechanics has to say on Dependence of amplitude on time, Hamiltonian matrix, and Other two state systems like benzene. Using, Dirac's formulation of quantum mechanics, the Matrix Mechanics.
  6. And here's an old friend the complexity class P. I have found out that I can read and write about theory of computation without feeling stressed!
Let's see whether I can be a better person tomorrow!

Reversible Computation And The Thermodynamics Of Computing.

I have this book by Richard P. Feynman, named Feynman Lectures on Computation. The chapter Five is Reversible Computation And The Thermodynamics Of Computing. Sounds Really intersting. As I haven't yet started to read this chapter, I don't know actually what it contains. But lets see what idea the chapter title is giving me.

Long ago while studying thermodynamics inevitably I had to come to the idea of entropy. Later in statistical physics even quantum mechanics the idea of counting of states had these equation similar to that of the equations from communication theory. I mean the equation for information and the equation for entropy has this marvelous resemblance. So now seeing this chapter title by guru Feynman I am very much thrilled!

And Reversible computation is a kind of computation done by quantum computers( at least theoretically) these days.

So, Lets see what's waiting there.

Things to be forgotten!

Let's write something. Something that we'll forget tomorrow.

I wish I knew more mathematics.
I wish I had more time.
I wish I could be something real. Because Imagination is nothing less than reality. These days I feel a real lack of imagination.
I wish I could find the purpose. Once I had a purpose for my life. Then someday I lost it. Or to phrase it correctly, I have forgotten it. And it is lost for ever.

I have four years before resignation. Actually by this time the term resignation should be 'retirement' but I didn't do anything, were not engaged in anything, so the formal term 'retirement' doesn't work.

But the positive thing is, now I can feel what a big ZERO I am. It's really making sense to me!
And ever since the beginning I like to work from the zero ... up.

Let's give it a shot.
or, Let's forget.

Remember This Moment!

Don't dare to forget this moment again. All the bad things happend to you and all the good things that didn't happen is all for this forgetfulness.

Now, show me what you have, or ...

Coriolis effect

  1. Studying coriolis effect. This is the reason why cyclone happens.
  2. Need to write something about Chinese Room Argument.
  3. Hopefully magnetic dipole will be complete within next few hours.
